Goals and Objectives

Goal:

To undertake and implement development and non-development sector activities for the inclusion and empowerment of women in the mainstream of development in the light of Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and Poverty Alleviation Strategies (PRSPs) under the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs.

Purpose:

To implement the women's development related activities undertaken by the government through 64 district and 412 upazila offices for the development and empowerment of women as the implementing agency of the Department of Women's Affairs under the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs.
